Steps to Connect Rockspace Extender to WiFi Network via WPS Button 

Go through the below instructions for the Rockspace extender setup by using the WPS button: 

Step 1: The first step is to connect the Rockspace WiFi range extender to the electrical outlet which is placed nearer to the existing WiFi router. Wait for some time until the LED light turns to solid blue.

Step 2: After that, locate and search for the WPS button on the existing WiFi router.

Step 3: Press the WPS button on the router within 2 minutes. Go to the range extender device and then you need to press the WPS button. 

Step 4: Next, you need to wait for some time until the LED light on the extender turns to solid blue. 

Step 5: Finally, your Rockspace WiFi range extender is connected to the WiFi router to boost the Rockspace booster device. 


       

          

Instructions for Rockspace WiFi Range Extender Setup through Web Interface

In this method, you need to connect the Rockspace WiFi extender to laptop or mobile through default WiFi SSID or the wired connection through the ethernet port of the extender device:

Step 1: Firstly, connect the Rockspace WiFi range extender to the electrical outlet placed in the same room as that of the WiFi router. 

Step 2: Open WiFi on your laptop or phone and then search for the network. You need to use the default SSID to connect with “rockspace ext”.

Step 3: Next, connect the “rockspace ext” SSID and then wait for some time until the laptop or phone are connected to the WiFi of your extender device. 

Step 4: In the next step, access ap.setup web address or the IP address 192.168.10.1. Wait for some time until the login screen loads. 

Step 5: During the configuration of the range extender, create a new login password. Change the login password for a more secure purpose. Tap on the Next button to proceed further.

Step 6: Now, you will get a list of all the neighboring Rockspace extender WiFi enabled networks. 

Step 7: Select your existing wireless network name from the drop-down list. Enter the password for the wireless network that you want to extend. 

Step 8: The extended WiFi network has a unique SSID that you can alter if needed.

Step 9: Wait for some time and a page will open on screen saying “extended successfully”. 

Step 10: Return to your phone and scan for the WiFi network again.

Step 11: You will get a new SSID named “Rockspace 5GEXT” or the name that you have given to the new extended network during the configuration. Use the same WiFi password as your existing network for the extended network. 


By following the above instructions, you can easily perform rock space wifi extender setup and improve the WiFi signals and speed without changing the network name.
