Overheating 

If the extender heats too much then your system may crash. In this scenario, it is good to reset the extender settings to the factory default settings. Reset the extender to fix the heating problem. 

Dropping Internet Issue 

When the extender drops the internet connection and shows the offline mode then you need to reset your device. You also need to perform the reset operation when you install the new firmware for your extender device.

Process to Reset the Rockspace WiFi Extender

Step 1: Firstly, make sure that your Rockspace extender is connected to the power outlet. Press the power button to turn it on. If it is not then insert the power adapter and connect it to an electrical outlet. 

Step 2: After that, search for the reset button on the backside of the extender. Once you find it, press the button using the sharp-pointed object or needle. 

Step 3: Release the button after 12-15 seconds. 

Note: In case, the LED light on the Rockspace WiFi range extender does not flash then it means you need to press the reset button again. 

Step 4: If the power LED light starts flashing then it means your extender starts booting up and getting factory default settings. 

Step 5: You have to wait for some minutes until your extender is set to the factory default.
